Welcome to Hillside First School

We are delighted that your child will be joining our school and we are looking forward to getting to know them.

Our new parent information pack contains all the information concerning your child starting school.

Starting school should be a happy and exciting time for both your child and for you.  We know that you will have lots of questions to ask us and hope the information here will begin to answer at least some of those questions.

If your child is joining us in Reception in September, you will be invited to a ‘New Parents Evening’ in June where you will be able to meet the teaching staff, visit the classroom and find about the day to day arrangements of starting Reception.  Click here to find out all about a day in the life of a reception child

To apply for a reception place to start September 2024, please click here.  The closing date for applications is 15th January 2024

Application outcomes

If you applied online you can login to your account and view the result of your application on the notification date.

The published notification date for admission to reception is 16 April 2024.

Any parent who did not provide an email address will receive their offer letter by post.
